About Our Journey

JourneyMap

Here we go. Decision has been made. After 4 years of emigration life we’re going home. To Poland.

It’s been very pleasant time for us in London, but we don’t belong here.

The Great Comeback will not be easy.  The return from perfectly organized country (UK) to a country of extreme bureaucracy, unfriendly council workers and low wages (Poland, if in any doubt) frightens us… To soften this “change of worlds” we have planned a trip. We called it an ‘amortization trip’. London to Poznan the wrong way. We are heading west and will be on our way for 4 months, travelling across South America, New Zealand and Australia. The map gives you an idea of our trip, our home way-finding plan.

We are starting our journey on the 1st of October 2009 and are planning to land in Poznan in February 2010.

Our team consists of two persons known as: Witka & Risky.

A note to non-Polish-speaking readers:

We cannot promise regular posts in English . We will try to update you on all major points of our adventures. However, due to unpredictability of our journey, we can not guarantee all of our entries to be translated to English.

We have a proposal for those, who REALLY want to know what our Polish posts are about… If you are living in the UK or Ireland ask your local Polish shopkeeper/cleaner/builder/lawyer/engineer/council worker to translate it. I bet they will do it for you without any problems. Or simply pop into the nearest cheap pub, shout ‘POLSKA POLSKA’ and we guarantee there will be more than 5* people that will answer your call.

* this number is an approximation and is guaranteed only if the pub holds more than 8 guests :)
